The Fourth Nusa Dua Light Festival (NDLF) takes place lively. The festival opened by the Deputy Regent of Badung, I Ketut Suiasa, on Thursday (May 30), is thronged by foreign tourists and the local community. The festival with the theme of The Mountain View takes place from May 30 to July 14, 2019. The NDLF held by the Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) is collaborated with Bali Blues Festival (BBF), concurrently used as the festival closing event on the Peninsula Island, Nusa Dua.

The night atmosphere on the tiny island is truly vibrant. Thousands of lanterns installed in various forms look so attractive, such as cut flowers, fruit trees, beautiful grass, balloon houses, and rabbit houses. The most magnificent are the two mountains. Lamp-shaped light formations made in mountainous shades such as plantations of apples, oranges, wheat, and others are very amazing. There are also lamp tunnels decorated with flora and fauna, and various other formations that can be a beautiful spot for taking a selfie.

According to him, in developing the tourism services sector, we must jointly participate in mutual cooperation because it cannot be unilateral, without building a relationship between the components of tourism, government and community’s stakeholders. “In terms of tourism, this event is a way to build increased tourist arrivals to Bali, especially Badung district. The Nusa Dua Light Festival has become an annual calendar of an event in Badung,” he explained.

Managing Director of The Nusa Dua, I Gusti Ngurah Ardita, said the NDLF 2019 and BBF annual event activities are supported by the Badung district government, the Bali provincial government and the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia to promote Bali in general and The Nusa Dua in particular. “This year’s NDLF activity is different from the theme “The Mountain Views” so it is expected to be able to attract tourists to make it as one of the objects to be visited,” he hoped.
