Thirteen Chinese Tourists Injured in Rollover Accident on Bali Mandara Toll Road

On the morning of Friday, December 1, 2025, a serious traffic accident involving a minivan full of Chinese tourists occurred on Bali’s Mandara Toll Road, resulting in injuries to thirteen passengers. The incident sent at least 13 people to the nearby Bali Mandara Hospital for medical treatment.

According to reports from Balipost.com, the accident took place around 8:45 a.m. when the minivan was traveling southbound on the toll road’s right lane. Authorities believe the vehicle was moving at a high speed when it collided with a light pole and then overturned. The minivan was carrying a total of 15 occupants, which included 13 Chinese tourists, a tour guide, and the driver.

Police have identified the driver by the initials ML. Early investigations suggest that the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel, contributing to the loss of control that caused the rollover. Fortunately, the injuries sustained by those involved were predominantly minor, and all injured parties received prompt medical attention at Bali Mandara Hospital.
