Karangasem, Bali – In a proactive move to bolster public safety and maintain order, the Manggis Police Station, as part of the Karangasem Police Department and under the directives of the Chief of Police, conducted a nighttime patrol on February 14, 2025. This operation, termed Kegiatan Rutin Yang Ditingkatkan (KRYD), is aligned with the national strategy to enhance security and operational transformation in the region.

Night Patrol Details

The patrol was carried out between 21:00 and 22:30 local time, utilizing patrol vehicles, specifically, a Kijang 02. The patrol route included key areas such as Jalan Raya Tanahampo, Ulakan, Labuan, and the Simpang Tiga Padang Bai.

Ensuring Safety at Vital Locations

The patrol began at the Bank BRI Unit Manggis, where police officers monitored the surrounding area. Their observations indicated a safe and conducive environment. ATM transactions were reported to be normal, with fewer users present at that hour. Traffic in the area was calm, and parking facilities were managed effectively, ensuring orderly vehicle placement.

Officers engaged local security personnel, sharing important safety messages.

The next stop was the Simpang Tiga Padang Bai, where the police noted the continued safety of the area. Again, the flow of traffic was unobstructed, and interactions with community members allowed for further dissemination of safety information.

Lastly, the patrol concluded at the Pegadaian Unit Ulakan. Here, police noted that the office had closed for the day, yet the vicinity remained safe and traffic continued to flow smoothly. Final conversations with local security reinforced the shared commitment to maintaining community safety.

Conclusion of Patrol

The patrol returned to the Manggis Police Station by 22:30, concluding the evening with a clean report—no disturbances or security issues were recorded throughout the operation.
