‘Kecak’ Dance at Sunset Now Available at Alila Villas Uluwatu

Share This Post:

First-timers to Bali can often be found flocking to Uluwatu Temple’s clifftop amphitheater to watch the famous kecak dance performance with the island’s picturesque sunset as background.

Tapping into this market, Alila Villas Uluwatu has launched a new facility named Sunset Theater, which will feature kecak fire dance performances every week, also during sunset.

Available starting June 15 until the end of this year, guests can also expect to enjoy street foods while watching the show. Dubbed “Kaki Lima”, the outdoor dinner experience will feature lawn tables and street food carts serving various local dishes, from mie ayam (chicken noodles), babi guling (suckling pig) and martabak (savory pancake) to fresh coconut water and local beers, according to a statement.

Room rates at the resort start from US$932++ per night for a one-bedroom pool villa.
