Legendary Spanish singer Julio Iglesias’ Bali concert slated for Saturday was canceled earlier this week. The event, a part of Iglesias’ world tour, was to be held in Pulau Peninsula in Bali’s Nusa Dua tourism area.
As reported by Antara news agency, the organizer only found out about the cancellation after communicating with the Four Seasons Resort Bali where the singer had made reservations.
“The hotel informed us that Julio Iglesias’ management had canceled their hotel reservation on Nov. 10-15,” said Abby Krisnamurti, a representative from event organizer Trans Event, adding that the reason of the cancellation was still unclear and that the singer’s management had expressed their apology and regret regarding the decision.
Iglesias also reportedly canceled his performance in New Zealand, which was his next planned stop after the Bali concert.
“We will give full refund for the tickets; the ticket management Cognitix will provide an explanation directly regarding the matter,” said Abby.
