Fire breaks out at Warung PePe, Dewi Sri

Photos posted to Instagram yesterday show flames engulfing Legian’s Warung PePe.

The Instagram account advised its followers to watch out for major gridlock on Jl. Dewi Siri and surrounding areas, resulting from the fire.

A witness told Tribun Bali that the fire broke out around 1:40 pm.

“Fortunately, the building and the restaurant are made out of steel and concrete, so the fire was able to be quickly extinguished,” Marsama, 40, said.
