Bali is most popular holiday destination for Singaporeans in Q1 2016: Report
Other popular holiday destinations among Singapore travellers include Hong Kong, Taipei and Bangkok, according to a report by travel site TripAdvisor.
SINGAPORE: The Indonesian island of Bali is the most popular international destination for Singapore travellers for the first quarter of 2016, according to a report released on Tuesday (Nov 24) by travel site TripAdvisor.
The report, drawn from search data on the TripAdvisor website, listed the 10 most popular holiday hotspots chosen by Singapore travellers for the travel period between Jan 1 and Mar 31, 2016.
Other popular holiday destinations among Singaporean travellers were Hong Kong, Taipei, Bangkok, Osaka, Kyoto, Seoul, Sapporo, Boracay and Langkawi.
The report also showed that among the 10 locations, Bali was the third-cheapest destination, with a one-week trip costing S$1,706 on average. Langkawi in Malaysia was the cheapest destination in the list, with a one-week trip costing S$1,428 on average. The Japanese city of Kyoto was the most expensive in the list – the average cost of a one-week trip was S$3,051.
