Ariel Noah Officially Appointed as Tourism Ambassador for Tabanan, Bali
Tabanan, Bali – November 2, 2025 – Celebrated Indonesian musician Nazril Irham, popularly known as Ariel Noah, has been named the official tourism ambassador for Tabanan, Bali. The appointment was announced by Tabanan District Head I Komang Gede Sanjaya during the inauguration of the Singasana Fun Run, an event marking the commencement of the city’s 532nd anniversary celebrations.
The fun run took place on Sunday at Taman Bung Karno, where Ariel joined local officials and community members in kicking off the festivities with enthusiasm. District Head Sanjaya expressed his optimism that Ariel’s involvement would draw greater attention and visitors to Tabanan, leveraging the musician’s widespread popularity to showcase the region’s unique attractions.
“By choosing Ariel Noah as our tourism ambassador, we hope to increase visitor numbers significantly,” said Sanjaya, opening the event with a traditional Balinese chant, Om Awighnam Astu Nama Sidham. The celebrations, themed “Mula Jayaning Singasana,” also featured national celebrities Christian Sugiono and Titi Kamal, who contributed to the vibrant atmosphere of the occasion.
Ariel Noah shared his positive impressions of Tabanan’s vibrant community during the event. “It’s my first time joining a Fun Run here, and the energy is incredible. The people are friendly, and the atmosphere is very positive,” he remarked. Highlighting Tabanan’s rich natural tourism potential, Ariel noted the region’s beautiful beaches, mountainous landscapes, and refreshing climate as perfect elements for tourism growth.
“Tabanan has a perfect combination of beauty, climate, and hospitality. I hope more Indonesians come to experience it firsthand,” the NOAH band’s lead vocalist added.
The anniversary activities, which will culminate on November 29, include a diverse range of social, cultural, and environmental programs such as city cleanups, tree planting, sidewalk painting, home renovations, and cultural festivals. These initiatives aim to strengthen community bonds while fostering a spirit of healthy living among residents.
The Singasana Fun Run itself began ceremoniously with a flag-raising performed by Sanjaya, his wife Rai Wahyuni Sanjaya, and other local dignitaries. The opening was further symbolized by the release of 500 balloons colored in tridatu—a traditional Balinese color triad—and 32 birds, signifying the official start of the anniversary events.
Local micro, small, and medium enterprises also participated in the celebrations, contributing to economic activity within Tabanan. District Head Sanjaya emphasized that the series of events are designed not only to boost tourism but also to promote unity, regional pride, and civic responsibility among the community.
