Tragic Shooting Claims Life of Australian Man in Bali
Bali, Indonesia — In a shocking incident on the popular tourist island of Bali, an Australian man was shot and killed early Friday morning at a villa in the Badung district. The victim, identified as 32-year-old Zivan Radmanovic from Melbourne, succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while another Australian, aged 34, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The shooting occurred just after midnight at Villa Casa Santisya, located near Munggu Beach. Authorities reported that the villa was occupied by five guests in three rooms at the time of the incident, including the victims’ wives and another foreign tourist.
Shooting Details
According to Badung Police Chief Arif Batubara, Radmanovic was found shot in a bathroom, where investigators later discovered a total of 17 bullet casings along with two intact bullets. Witnesses at the scene provided accounts of the attack, claiming that two gunmen arrived on a scooter. One of the assailants was described as wearing an orange jacket and a dark helmet, while the other donned a dark green jacket, a black mask, and a dark helmet.
Radmanovic’s wife, Gourdeas Jazmyn, 30, reported that she was awakened by her husband’s screams and instinctively hid under her blanket when she heard gunshots. She later emerged to find her husband and the injured man. The second victim’s wife reportedly corroborated the sighting of the attackers.
