Bali, Indonesia – Gruesome scenes have unfolded at a lodging house in Jimbaran, Badung, Bali, where the lifeless body of a tourist was discovered in an empty water storage tank. Local authorities have launched a murder investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

Discovery of the Body

According to reports from local media, the body was found by a maintenance worker at a lodging house located on Jalan By Pass Ngurah Rai. Initially mistaken for a mannequin, the worker was shocked to identify the figure as that of a human. “After checking again, it turned out to be a human body, and the repairman immediately informed the owner of the house,” a spokesperson from Denpasar Police stated.

The deceased, whose nationality has not yet been officially confirmed but is believed to be Australian based on early unverified reports, was found unclothed and bearing multiple injuries.
