She later saw a man in a bright orange jacket shoot her husband in the bathroom. In the moments that followed, she heard Ghanim’s screams as well. After witnessing the assailant flee, she rushed to assist Ghanim, attempting to apply pressure to his wounds.
Another witness staying at the villa, identified only as Daniela, reported waking up to loud noises that she initially thought were explosions. She claimed to have seen the suspect in a green jacket attempting to enter her room, prompting her to flee from the premises.
