Perhatikan busana kami. Memang sengaja kami masukkan unsur Bali di sana-sini. Sebagaimana skena rockabilly Hispanik/orang-orang Amerika yang punya kaitan kultural dengan Spanyol yang mampu menyumbangkan identitas rockabilly yang khas lagi unik: Chicano, Pachuco, Latino, Tex Mex, dsb. Perhatikan rompi yang dikenakan Vincent serta Adi (paling kiri dan kanan), pekat nuansa tradisional Bali tanpa kehilangan roh rockabilly. The Hydrant, Bali’s own rockabilly band, has made it all the way to swinging Las Vegas for their genre’s biggest gathering in the world. We always knew they were awesome, but now they’ve got the international festival invite to prove it!

After months of fundraising and concerts promoting their trip for the Viva Las Vegas festival, you can see lead singer Marshello and the boys, Adi, Chris, and Vincent, are having loads of fun.

From the first time “Rockabilly Weekend” festival Viva Las Vegas was held in 1998, The Hydrant is apparently the first band from Indonesia to represent.
