If you do not have time to visit and join the Art Cycle Bazaar in the event entitled OctobArt 2019 at The Haven Suites Bali Berawa, just come on Saturday (Oct. 19). At that time, the second OctobArt 2019 will be featuring traditional music. The art performance is packaged attractively and will be a choice for in-house guests and other guests having recently come to travel in Bali. “The OctobArt 2019 is definitely more interesting. We perform gamelan shows,” said Marketing Communication Executive, Mrs. Nadya Chendana, on Thursday (18 Oct.).
It is performed in the hotel lobby and specifically introduces traditional music to in-house guests. In addition to presenting a gamelan show, it also provides an opportunity for guests to attend a short workshop on how to play Indonesian traditional musical instruments. “Guests who are learning and knowing the gamelan are painted by urban sketchers in Bali. That’s a special moment that must be immortalized,” she added.
The painting, continued Nadya, will be sold to tourists and hotel guests that want to purchase. Ten percent of every sold painting will be donated by The Haven Suites Bali Berawa to Wana Seraya Nursing Home of Biaung. “The Haven Suites Bali Berawa which is part of the PHM Hotel property always shares with others and cares for the environment. We’ll donate each proceeds of the sales to our comrades who have not been lucky,” said Nadya proudly.
Nadya added the atmosphere of the first OktobArt was very lively. At that time, guests took time to chat with crafters who can speak foreign languages well. In addition to the upcycle bazaar, the visitors were also entertained with sweet live reggae acoustic music. Besides, The Haven Suites Berawa also provided with an option of Buffet BBQ Dinner then so as to satisfy the tastes of tourists.
