The Fashion Festival Bali 2015 officially opened its doors on August 20th 2015 at The Trans Resort Bali’s lavish ballroom. The first runway show wowed the audience with Mona Al Mansouri’s ethereal collection of couture gowns, Xi Zhu’s modern take and twist on contemporary men’s wear, captivating sustainable headpieces from Heads of State Millinery, easy breezy women’s wear by Fern The New Batik, bold and sleek pieces from Julia Milan, and fashion-forward looks for the ladies and gents by Danjyo Hiyoji.
The second night was set to spoil the ladies with a collection of feminine pleat-tastic pieces from Pleatation, sleek and elegant numbers by Dimas, colorful and tropical pieces from Dragonfly, summer-friendly outerwears and maxi dresses by Katya Kovtunovich, and ultra-stylish big city-inspired looks from ISIS.
Guests were in awe during the last runway show, witnessing looks by Fabiola Aisha, presenting hand beaded mini dresses and curve hugging gowns, Queenmark who showed off vivid and versatile shawls, celebrity favorite Betty Tran who never ceased to amaze with her opulent feminine evening gowns, and Ikat Indonesia by Didiet Maulana who as always proved that traditional fabric can be fashion-forward and daring.
