Police at South Bali’s Port of Benoa have been cracking down on passengers carrying blade weapons with a targeted operation since May and will continue to be extra tough up through Lebaran.
At least 24 “sharp weapons” were confiscated from travelers going through Benoa, since May, Port of Benoa Police Chife I Nyoman Gatra told Tribun Bali.
But weapons aren’t the only thing port police are after—they’ve also been confiscating unlicensed alcohol.
