Bali, Surabaya Among Oceania Cruises’ New Ports of Call

Bali’s Celukan Bawang and Surabaya in East Java have been listed among Oceania Cruises’ new ports of call as the cruise line announced its itineraries for 2020-2021.

“This new collection of itineraries unveils iconic ports of call and offers a wealth of opportunities to explore corners of the globe nearly untouched by tourism,” said the company’s president and CEO, Bob Binder, in a statement.

Titled “Tropics & Exotics”, the collection features a total of 85 itineraries, which includes 69 entirely new ones such as 13 new voyages to Asia and Africa and seven new sailings to the South Pacific and Australia.

Other than Bali and Surabaya, the company’s new ports of call include Isla De La Juventud, Cuba; Miyako, Japan; Maceió, Brazil; Mooloolaba, Australia; Muroran (Hokkaido), Japan; Port Lincoln, Australia; Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; Sendai, Japan; Tôlanaro (Fort Dauphin), Madagascar; and Whangarei, New Zealand. Known as a cruise line that focuses on cuisine and destinations, Oceania Cruises currently has six luxurious ships that can accommodate only 684 to 1,250 guests. It boasts more than 450 ports of call across the globe as well as a 180-day around the world voyages.
