The announcement was made at the 32nd annual World Travel Awards (WTA) ceremony held in Hong Kong on October 13, 2025. ### Triumph Amidst Stiff Competition
This year, the category for Asia’s Most Romantic Destination featured three notable nominees: Bali from Indonesia, Ko Samui from Thailand, and Siem Reap from Cambodia. Bali emerged as the winner once again, marking a remarkable seventh consecutive victory in this prestigious category.
The island paradise did not stop there; Bali also secured the title of Asia’s Leading Wedding Destination for 2025. Competing against equally scenic spots such as Cebu in the Philippines, Ko Samui in Thailand, and Langkawi in Malaysia, Bali’s continued success highlights its enduring appeal as a top wedding and honeymoon destination.
