Putu Winastra, chairman of the Indonesian Travel Agencies Association, told Bali Post that travel warnings serve as reminders to exercise caution rather than signals to avoid travel altogether.

“A travel warning is a normal thing, a notification of the current situation,” Winastra explained. “A travel warning is just a reminder and appeal to be careful. It’s not forbidden.” He further noted that inquiries from international agents, such as one in Spain, have resulted in confirmations that Bali remains safe for visitors.

Despite the unrest elsewhere in Indonesia, Bali has not experienced a notable surge in booking cancellations or declines in tourist arrivals. Visitors continue to enjoy popular destinations such as Kuta Beach, where the atmosphere remains relatively calm and secure for tourists.
