The State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Ministry on Monday welcomed participants of the International Monetary Fund-World Bank (IMF-WB) Annual Meetings 2018 in Nusa Dua, Bali, showcasing strategic projects and other information about the country at the Indonesia Pavilion, just across the street from the main venue, the Bali International Convention Center (BICC).
The Indonesia Pavilion, organized in collaboration with a number of SOEs and ministries, offers information on strategic investment projects and tourist destinations, as well as an arts and crafts exhibit.
“The Indonesia Pavilion showcases Nawacita,” said Sahala Lumban Gaol, a special staff of the SOEs Ministry, referring to President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo’s nine-point development program. “We are presenting the progress in Indonesia’s infrastructure [projects].”
The pavilion featured infrastructure projects to improve nationwide access and connectivity, such as toll roads, airports, and seaports, on the hope that interested investors would emerge, he added.
Meanwhile, visitors would find thematic rooms inside the pavilion, including the BUMN (SOEs) Hall, a workshop area, VIP lounge, investment lounge, and mini theater.
“The Indonesia Pavilion also provides delegates with an opportunity to experience a beautiful and unique journey,” Sahala said.
