The public and visitors can expect to see at these eye-catching buses from Thursday until December.

“These seven spots are among our marketing priority destinations,” said Tourism Minister Arief Yahya during the launching event in Central Jakarta on Thursday as quoted by tempo.co (https://travel.tempo.co/read/1110660/7-destinasi-wisata-akan-dipromosikan-di-bus-wonderful-asian-games).

The images feature the breathtaking landscapes of Nusa Penida in Bali, the night view of the Hotel Indonesia traffic circle in Jakarta, the Gandrung dance from Banyuwangi, the Borobudur temple, Bali’s kecak dance and Padar Island in Komodo Island, East Nusa Tenggara.

The ministry is targeting to lure 5 percent of foreign tourists enteringIndonesia during the Games to visit the aforementioned destinations.

“The estimated total number of foreign tourists [who will come during the  Games] is 170,000. Five percent means there will be 8,500 people who will explore the seven places,” said Arief.

Previously such a campaign had been launched by the ministry on city buses abroad, such as Berlin, Paris, Moscow and London.
