Jakarta — The Nuanu Creative City, a sprawling 44-hectare tourism project located in Bali, has opened its doors to potential investors with an enticing investment opportunity of around $70 million. Positioned along the picturesque coastline of Tabanan, Nuanu is poised to become a significant player in Bali’s tourism landscape, attracting attention from both local and international investors.

Bali, known for its stunning natural landscapes and rich cultural heritage, has solidified its status as a premier travel destination. According to data from Indonesia’s Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the island welcomed over 6.3 million foreign visitors in 2024 alone, surpassing pre-pandemic figures by 20.1 percent.

Nuanu’s Unique Offerings

Nuanu Creative City aims to be more than just another tourist attraction. Described by its CEO Lev Kroll as a “theme park for adults,” the project is designed to foster creativity and innovation while providing entertainment. The concept of a “creative city” revolves around art, wellness, and sustainable living. The official launch of Nuanu is planned for August, but some attractions, such as the outdoor multimedia park Aurora and a unique glass-blowing workshop, are already welcoming visitors.

Kroll noted that Nuanu has garnered significant interest, with around 80,000 visitors monthly, a majority of whom are international tourists. The project aims to increase its visitor count to 3.2 million between July 2025 and 2026, showcasing its ambition to become a thriving hub for tourism.

Infrastructure and Investment Potential

Nuanu has already invested over $30 million in essential infrastructure, which includes roads, electricity, and drainage systems. These critical developments are part of a broader vision to invite investors interested in creating various residential and commercial projects, such as culinary ventures, entertainment locales, wellness centers, and collaborative working spaces.

Kroll declared, "We are opening the next phase of Nuanu’s development to outside investors to partner up." This call for partnership highlights the project’s readiness to expand and diversify its offerings in the competitive Bali tourism market.

A Strategic Approach to Investment

To date, Nuanu’s management has received over 1,000 inquiries from prospective investors hailing from approximately 12 countries, including Indonesia. Kroll emphasizes a selective approach to partnerships, seeking out investors who are not only financially capable but also possess the relevant experience and expertise necessary for the creative projects envisioned.

"For us, it’s more important to find strategic, experienced partners," Kroll explained. "Let’s say if we want to build an art museum; it’d be easier to do that with a partner who has experience in that industry."

Commitment to Community and Nature

What sets Nuanu apart from other tourism projects is its dedication to investing in art and entertainment while also prioritizing environmental sustainability and community welfare. All businesses operating within the park have pledged a portion of their revenue to support communal and environmental initiatives, reinforcing Nuanu’s commitment to giving back.

As Bali continues to evolve as a tourist destination, Nuanu Creative City stands poised not only to attract investments but also to enhance the cultural and artistic landscape of this beloved island. With its unique offerings and strategic investment opportunities, Nuanu aims to be a cornerstone of Bali’s future in tourism.
