Ceiling Collapse Startles Woman in Bali Hotel

A shocking incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when a hotel room ceiling collapsed on a young woman, leaving her shaken but unharmed. Alma Lagerstedt, a 23-year-old surfer and yoga teacher from Sweden, experienced the frightening event while staying at a hotel near Pandawa Beach in Bali.

Midnight Mayhem

The ordeal began around 3 a.m. when a loud crash jolted Lagerstedt awake. Startled and confused, she quickly grabbed her phone and began filming the aftermath. In a now-viral TikTok video, she expressed her disbelief at the situation, saying, "You know when you’re sleeping in your bed at 3 a.m., and the f*****g roof falls down on top of you in bed?”

As she recorded, fragments of the ceiling lay scattered across her bed and the floor, prompting her to comment incredulously, "The whole f***g roof. What the actual fk. Oh my God." In the video, she pointed her camera upward, revealing the remnants of the ceiling, which left only a few panels intact.

Immediate Aftermath

Following the incident, Lagerstedt chose not to remain at the hotel where the collapse occurred. Instead, she temporarily stayed at a friend’s house while she made arrangements for a new accommodation. “I didn’t really wanna stay there anymore, so in the end, I got all the money back, and I moved to another place,” she explained, relieved to have resolved the situation.
