Bali Police Support Local Religious Leaders with Prayer Equipment Donation

Tianyar Barat, Bali – In a gesture aimed at strengthening community ties, police officers from the Kubu Police Station, under the Polres Karangasem division of Bali Police, conducted an outreach program on February 14, 2025, donating essential prayer equipment to a local religious leader.

Aiptu I Made Rudiya, a member of the Bhabinkamtibmas unit, visited the home of Jero Mangku Suardana in the Telaga Kangin neighborhood of Banjar Dinas Taman Sari in Tianyar Barat. During this visit, he presented a set of ceremonial prayer items, which included a destar (headpiece), baju (shirt), saput (sarong), and kamben (traditional cloth). This donation is part of the ongoing efforts by the Bali Police to foster harmonious relationships with local religious figures.

Strengthening Community Relations

The event emphasized the importance of collaboration between law enforcement and community leaders. Aiptu Rudiya highlighted the role of Jero Mangku Suardana as a key figure in providing spiritual guidance and support to the community. He expressed that by providing these prayer tools, the police aim to further assist Jero Mangku in his mission to serve the public.

Additionally, during the visit, Rudiya encouraged Jero Mangku to be proactive in working alongside the police to ensure the safety and security of the community. Emphasizing the need for cooperation, he reiterated that mutual support is vital in maintaining the peace and harmony of the area, especially during religious gatherings and ceremonies.

Acknowledgment of Support

In response to this gesture, Jero Mangku Suardana expressed his gratitude to the police for their generous support. He noted that the donation of prayer equipment would be invaluable in helping him fulfill his duties in serving the spiritual needs of the community.

“The prayer equipment will certainly enhance our capabilities in serving the community,” Jero Mangku Suardana stated.

Police’s Commitment to Community Welfare

The event concluded with remarks from AKP. I Gusti Agung Bagus Suteja, the Kubu Police Chief, who reaffirmed the police’s commitment to supporting local communities through various initiatives. He remarked, “This donation is part of our broader program aimed at assisting community members. We hope that these prayer items will be beneficial in aiding Jero Mangku’s efforts to serve the public.”
