Denpasar, Bali – A six-year-old boy named Gede Satria has been reported missing after being swept away by strong currents while at Tukad Korea, located near Pasar Badung in Denpasar, Bali. The incident occurred on Friday, January 24, 2025, around 11:00 WITA.

Search Efforts Underway

Efforts to locate Gede have involved multiple agencies, including the Denpasar Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas), Denpasar Fire and Rescue Services, the Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR), local police, and volunteers. These teams have been conducting thorough searches in the surrounding areas.

Ida Bagus Joni Ariwibawa, the Head of BPBD Denpasar, reported that as of Friday evening, the young boy had not been found, and the search will resume the following day. ‘We have not located him yet.
